What to Expect At Faith Mennonite Church
Worship
Worship services begin at 5:00PM EST in the sanctuary of the Assembly Fellowship building: 727 New York St, Goshen, IN 46526. The services are in English. You may request hearing assistance at the sound booth which is located at the back of the sanctuary. Our worship style is casual and flexible. Music is led by our church "band" called Faithful Bread. Musicians of all types and skill-levels are invited to join in on the fun. They practice the music for the service beginning around 4:15 in the worship space.
Children
During worship each week there is a special story or activity for children before they go to Sunday School. Nursery is available for babies and toddlers. Sunday School is provided from age 3 and up. A favorite of our children is a supervised play time after our shared meal while their parents visit or help with meal clean up. Faith joins several other Mennonite churches to provide summer bible school.
Youth
Our middle and high school age students each have their own Sunday School class. They also frequently gather for midweek activities or service projects. Favorite activities include volunteering at the MCC Depot, raking leaves for neighbors, and preparing and serving fundraiser meals for The Window.
Fellowship Meal
Each Sunday night, as a continuation of our worship service, we enjoy a shared meal together. We rotate between potlucks, soup (or salads/sandwiches in the summer), and crockpot meals. All are welcome.
Small Groups
Small groups meet every 1st Wednesday of the month. Contact one of the pastors to join a small group.
Retreat
Each fall Faith goes to Camp Friedenswald for a weekend retreat full of fun, relaxation, and rich fellowship.
